Gary Severson

Gary Severson is a seasoned retail executive with extensive experience at Walmart, where roles spanned from Senior Buyer to Chief Merchandising Officer for Walmart Japan before retiring as Senior Vice President of Merchandising in 2016. Following a brief tenure as a full-time missionary, Gary Severson became a Mission President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in June 2018 and is committed to serving for three years. Gary Severson's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
