Grant Barnes

Grant Barnes is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in transportation finance and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Transportation Data Science & Strategy at Walmart, Grant develops comprehensive dashboards and reporting for fleet and third-party utilization. Previously, as Manager II in Transportation Finance at Walmart, responsibilities included analyzing expense-side finance for a multi-billion dollar portfolio, optimizing invoicing processes, and initiating significant savings through refined expense allocation. Earlier experience at The Home Depot involved roles such as Project Analyst, where Grant utilized data storytelling for G&A/store markdowns, and analyzing payroll forecasting across thousands of stores. Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Tulane University, along with a Master of Applied Business Analytics from the University of Minnesota.
