James Shefchik

James Shefchik has a robust background in engineering and facilities management, spanning over two decades of service in the US Navy and subsequent roles in the private sector. As the Director of Facilities Engineering & Acquisition at Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), James oversaw $40 million in facilities support and construction contracts, managing a division of 30 professionals. James served as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer in the US Navy for 20 years, holding various leadership positions, including Resident Officer-in-Charge of Construction and Regional Energy Program Manager. Following military service, James was a Program Manager at ServiceSource, Inc., leading a team of 220, with a focus on inclusive employment. Currently, James is the Sr. Manager of Facilities Services at Walmart. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Master of Science in Business Organizational Management from the University of La Verne.
