Javier Angulo

Javier Angulo is a changemaker committed to economic and community empowerment, with extensive experience in nonprofit, political, and corporate sectors. As the Senior Director of Community Relations at Walmart since 2017, they develop and execute strategies to enhance community engagement and improve the company's reputation. Previously, they held key roles such as Associate Director of Development at MALDEF, National Director of Civic Education at NALEO Educational Fund, and served as a Senior Associate at Progressive Strategy Partners. Javier obtained a BA in Sociology along with Chicano Studies and Spanish from UC Santa Barbara and has completed various leadership programs, including the Leadership Consortium at Harvard Business School.
