John Schindler

John Schindler has extensive experience in product management and development within the technology and consumer electronics industries. Notably, at VIZIO, John served in multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of TV Product Management, where the launch of the XVT Series garnered recognition from CNET. As Vice President of Product Planning, John oversaw comprehensive product strategies and managed cross-functional teams. In the role of Vice President Smart TV & Audio Product Management, John played a pivotal role in launching VIZIO's first soundbar and achieving the top market share in consumer home theater audio. Prior to VIZIO, John's career at Gateway began as an intern, eventually advancing to Senior Director of Product Management, guiding product strategy for desktops, notebooks, and monitors. Currently, John is the Senior Director of Product Development at Walmart, focusing on VIZIO branded products and driving growth in premium segments. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Western Michigan University.
