Matt Hu

Matt Hu is a professional with extensive experience in program management and corporate development. Currently serving as the Manager of Marketplace Strategic Initiatives at Walmart since July 2024, Matt focuses on enhancing marketplace seller growth. Previously, as the Corporate Development Manager at Balco Australia PTY Ltd. from June 2021 to February 2023, significant achievements included the acquisition of a competitor that positioned Balco as the largest oaten hay producer in the industry, along with leading modernization efforts in branding and technology. Earlier roles involved serving as Deputy Manager of Human Resources at Sequoia Capital China and as a Summer Associate at JD.COM. Matt holds an MBA in Accounting from Columbia Business School and a BS in Environmental Science from Cornell University.
