Matt Jones

Matt Jones has extensive experience in finance and accounting, beginning as an Accountant II at Transok, Inc. from March 1991 to September 1994, where responsibilities included analyzing natural gas contract purchases and performing account reconciliations. At Walmart, spanning from March 2018 to June 2022, Matt held several key positions, notably as Senior Manager II in Finance Data and Analytics and Director of Supplier Finance, where a significant supplier finance program led to over $1 billion in savings within the first year. Additionally, Matt served as Sr. Finance Manager in Financial Services and Corporate Finance, focusing on automated reporting and investment analysis. Prior to Walmart, Matt earned a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Arkansas (1986-1990) and worked at Southwestern Energy as Supervisor of Revenue Accounting, managing sales accounting for over 2,500 properties.
