Michael Mercado

Michael Mercado has extensive experience in maintenance management and engineering, primarily with Walmart since May 2005, where roles have included Divisional Maintenance Manager for Grocery Automation and Senior Material Handling Equipment Manager, overseeing multi-million dollar budgets and maintenance operations across multiple distribution centers. Prior to Walmart, Michael served in the US Navy from 2002 to 2005, holding various positions such as Submarine Emergency Response Officer and Submarine Main Propulsion Officer, where responsibilities included nuclear emergency planning and managing submarine mechanical systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and completed advanced training at the US Navy Nuclear Power School and Nuclear Engineer Officer School.
