Michael Yates

Michael Yates has extensive experience in sales, business development, and management, primarily within the agriculture and renewable energy sectors. As Vice President of Sales at SANANBIO™ from January 2014 to April 2021, Michael contributed to the company's growth in the Controlled Environment Agriculture market. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions including Vice President at Suncore Photovoltaics, and Business Development Manager at EMCORE Corporation. Additional experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the CPV Consortium and roles in brand management and district management at Iberdrola and National Services Group, respectively. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management and a minor in Spanish and Iberian Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Currently, Michael serves as Sr. Director of Innovations Agricultural Strategy Development at Walmart.
