Praneeth Gubbala

Praneeth Gubbala is a Principal Applied Scientist and Gen AI Lead at Walmart, where they focus on eCommerce generative AI and custom large language models. Previously, they served as a Staff Applied Scientist and ML Tech Lead at Walmart Global Tech, leading projects in customer support and product enrichment, as well as managing a team of NLP data scientists in the conversational AI domain. Praneeth began their career as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Samsung Electronics, improving natural language understanding for the Bixby voice assistant. They earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning and NLP, from Stony Brook University.
