Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is an experienced leader with a diverse background in workforce development, business engagement, and government relations. Currently serving as a Director at Walmart since September 2019, Sean previously held key roles at the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council, including Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives, where a coalition effort resulted in securing a $2.4M grant. Additional experience includes roles as Camo2Commerce Director and Executive Director at the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition, managing a team supporting over 100 defense suppliers and overseeing a $500,000 budget. Sean also has a notable history in government, with positions as Regional Director for the United States Senate and North District Director for the U.S. House of Representatives. Educational credentials include an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Eastern Washington University, among other certifications.
