Senthil Nathan

Senthil Nathan is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in eCommerce and software development. As the Director of Engineering at Walmart eCommerce since 2014, Senthil oversees critical engineering initiatives. Prior to Walmart, Senthil served as a Senior Engineering Manager at PayPal from March 2007 to November 2013, where the delivery of the core Identity services platform hinged on the OAuth protocol and REST-based APIs. Senthil's earlier roles include Engineering Manager at Trados/SDL, where leadership focused on enterprise software for globalization, and Technical Lead at Ariba Inc, contributing to the design of the Ariba Commerce Service Network. Additional experience includes positions at Pointcast, Sun Microsystems, and Network Equipment Technologies, showcasing a robust background in network management and scalable server solutions. Senthil holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
