Layne Johnson has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2008, they started working as a Cardiology Technician at UNC Health, where they stayed until 2010. During this time, they gained experience in the field of healthcare.
In 2010, Layne Johnson founded Findum, a local living engine that aimed to transform local communities by providing infrastructure for local commerce. They worked as the founder and product designer until 2014.
Afterward, Layne joined UNC Health again in 2014, initially as a Cardiology Technician and later as the Lead Cardiology Technician. As the Assistant Administrator of the TeleHealth department, they collaborated to support remote and central operations for TeleHealth services. They worked in this role until 2020.
In 2021, Layne Johnson joined Gods of Fortune as an iOS Developer, focusing on digital accessibility design and development. They specialized in iOS development and stayed with the company until 2022.
Currently, Layne is working at Walnut as an Enablement Engineer, starting in December 2022.
Layne Johnson has a background in computer programming, having attended Le Wagon for a course in computer programming. Additionally, Layne has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In terms of additional certifications, Layne has obtained a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) from the IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals in January 2023. Layne has also earned an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Web Accessibility from edX in October 2021.
