Nir Eran

Nir Eran has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and business intelligence. Nir is currently serving as the Head of Data at Walnut since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Analytics at Sagarmatha from November 2019 to April 2022.

In their previous role at Teva Pharmaceuticals, which they held from January 2016 to November 2019, Nir was the BI & Analytics Team Leader. Nir was responsible for managing a portfolio of data products and solutions, enabling finance and commercial business users to analyze and understand Teva's performance. Nir also conducted market and customer research to prioritize and trade-off business demands for new products and features. Additionally, they engaged executives and decision-makers to utilize data products for major cross-organization processes such as mergers and acquisitions, annual planning, revenue estimations, and cost analysis.

Nir's earlier experience includes working at Gilon, where they served as the BI Sales & Finance Project Manager for Teva from January 2009 to December 2016. Nir was also a BI/DWH Developer, specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse development, using tools like Cognos, Business Objects, and OLAP.

At the start of their career, Nir worked at Intel as a Labor Productivity & Systems Analyst from 2005 to 2007.

Overall, Nir Eran has a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, and project management, with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Nir Eran obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2003 to 2007. Nir later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same university, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011.
