Max Howald has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Junior Research Scientist position at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU, which they held from 2014. In 2018, they co-founded Walrus Security and currently serves as the Head of Engineering. At Walrus Security, they are responsible for creating a solution for authentication and anti-fraud. Max's expertise in applied cryptography and cybersecurity has been integral in the development of the company's technology.
