Jeffrey Hale

Jeffrey Hale has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Jeffrey currently serves as the Head of Design at Walrus since 2022. Prior to this, they were the owner of Hale Design Inc. starting from 2014. Jeffrey also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2014 to 2022 and as a Design Director at 77 Ventures Creative from 2009 to 2022. Jeffrey worked as a Freelance Designer at Central Office from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they held the position of Adjunct Professor at Salve Regina University from 2013 to 2014, at Rhode Island School of Design from 2012 to 2014, and at Rhode Island College from 2009 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Jeffrey worked as a Design Director at Walrus from 2004 to 2006 and as a Graphic Designer at Duffy & Partners from 2001 to 2004.

Jeffrey Hale has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained between 1994 and 1998. Jeffrey then pursued Graphic Design at Portfolio Center from 1998 to 2000. Lastly, they completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Painting at the University of Washington from 2006 to 2008.
