Robin Hafitz

Head of Strategic Development at Walrus

Robin Hafitz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robin founded Open Mind Strategy, LLC in 2010 and served as the CEO until July 2019. Robin also held the positions of Founder and Chairperson during their time at the company. Additionally, they worked as an Ordained Interfaith Minister, serving as a Reverend starting in June 2019. Before that, they were the Head of Strategic Development at Walrus from 2009 onwards and served as a Brand Strategy Consultant from 2007 to 2016. Robin worked as a Community Minister at Judson Memorial Church from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they were a Managing Partner and Chief Strategic Officer at kb+p from 2007 to 2010. Robin owned and operated Big Picture Strategy from 2006 to 2007. Robin held various leadership positions at Mad Dogs & Englishmen (and Mad Logic) and Mad Dogs & Englishmen from 1992 to 2005. Robin started their career as a VP and Senior Account Planner at chiat/day/mojo ny from 1989 to 1992 and as a Senior Account Planner at Lord Einstein O'neill from 1987 to 1989.

Robin Hafitz completed their high school education at Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Montana from 1976 to 1980, earning a high school diploma. Robin then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at Yale University from 1980 to 1984, majoring in Fine and Studio Arts with a minor in English. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they attended Yale Divinity School, where they obtained a Master of Divinity degree in Religion. In 2017, they enrolled in the One Spirit Interfaith/Interspiritual Seminary and is currently in the process of completing their degree as an ordained Interfaith Minister, with an expected graduation date of 2019.
