Max Moore has diverse experience in both engineering and aquatic safety. From June 2019 to August 2021, Max served as a Lifeguard and Beach Lifeguard for the Chicago Park District. Following this, Max worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Biological and Bio-Inspired Materials from October 2021 to July 2022. Currently, Max is a Civil Engineering student at Virginia Tech College of Engineering, expected to graduate in 2025, while also holding the position of Membership Chair at the American Society of Civil Engineers since June 2022. In June 2025, Max will take on the role of Project Engineer I at The Walsh Group, where responsibilities include serving as an Estimator in the Buildings Estimating Division.
