Rick Murphy has extensive experience in civil engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at The Walsh Group, where involvement includes the $1.2 billion CTA Red-Purple Modernization Project. Previously, Rick held roles as Project Engineer for the $600 million Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Dallas Central Waste Water Treatment Plant, as well as the $13 million Rethink Rt 9 Traffic Calming Project. Additional experience includes working as a Student Worker at the University of Cincinnati's Soil Mechanics Lab and completing a 20-month co-op with Walsh, contributing to the construction of hydroelectric power plants and a large wastewater treatment facility. Rick obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
