Rob Vangorder

Rob VanGorder is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the construction and engineering industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of the West Transportation Group at The Walsh Group since August 2022, Rob previously held senior leadership positions at Granite Construction, including Senior Vice President and Group Manager of the Water and Mineral Services Group. Rob's background also includes roles at Kokosing Construction Company and earlier positions at Granite Construction, starting as a Project Manager. Before transitioning to the private sector, Rob served as a Combat Engineer Officer in the US Army, participating in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and completed Executive Education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
