Steve Thomas

Steve Thomas, CSP, CHST, has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the construction industry. Currently serving as the Director of HSE for the Florida Transportation Group at The Walsh Group since July 2009, Steve has held various roles, including Regional Safety Manager for both Archer Western and Walsh Construction Company's North East Heavy Civil Division, with a focus on large bridge and highway programs. Prior to joining The Walsh Group, Steve served as Safety Director for Alberici Constructors, overseeing safety performance across multiple business units, and held safety management positions at C-Logic and Construction Safety Associates. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University.
