Simon also has a background in pharmaceutical sales from their time at Aventis Pharmaceutical. Simon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sport & Human Movement Studies from the University of Wales, Cardiff, as well as a National Diploma in Parks, Recreation, Leisure, and Fitness Studies from North Devon College.
