Dan Cimpan

Dan Cimpan has extensive experience as a design engineer, with a career spanning over two decades in the automotive and defense sectors. At Faurecia from March 2012 to October 2023, Dan focused on the design of seat frames, tracks, foams, and plastics, managing bill of materials breakdown and component testing. Previous roles include design engineering at Goodrich, RECARO North America, AAR Corp, and Keiper Recaro, where responsibilities included packaging, modeling, and detailing electronic modules and seat assembly components. Dan also contributed as a designer at Lear Corporation, creating 3D data for various seat components. Currently, Dan is engaged at Waltonen Engineering in the defense area utilizing Creo for design work. Dan holds an associate degree in automotive design from Oakland Community College.
