Aaron Roy

Aaron Roy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Aaron is currently the Director of Product, Growth at Teachable, an SaaS eCommerce platform for online courses. In this role, they are responsible for developing subscriber acquisition, conversion, and monetization strategies. Prior to this, Aaron worked as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager at Teachable, focusing on the Discover feature.

Before joining Teachable, Aaron co-founded and served as the CEO of Wami, a bootstrapped B2B startup that provided personalized handwritten note campaigns to marketers. Aaron worked with luxury brands such as Kering, LVMH, and Richemont on their campaigns.

Aaron also has experience as a Mentor at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, where they provided guidance to entrepreneurs participating in the MIT delta v program. Additionally, they worked at Bond as a Senior Director of Product, where they played a key role in transitioning the company to agile software development and streamlining the product launch process.

In the 3D printing industry, Aaron held various roles at 3DPrinterOS, including COO and Head of Product and Strategy. Aaron conducted user research, created wireframes and prototypes, and translated learnings into actionable insights and technical requirements.

Aaron's early career includes a role as a Business Development Representative at Varonis, where they led the development of new territories for their enterprise security software. Aaron also co-founded Convenient Canvassing, a bicycle taxi consultancy that created turnkey companies in New Orleans and Miami.

Aaron Roy attended the University of Connecticut School of Law from 2009 to 2012 and obtained a Doctor of Law degree. In 2005, they graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science. Additionally, in 2017, Aaron acquired a certification in HTML, CSS, and Web Design from General Assembly.
