Markus Schmidtchen

Markus Schmidtchen began their career in 2013 as a Vehicle Controls Engineer, Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer for the Racetech Racing Team in an international student competition. In 2016, they interned at Robert Bosch GmbH. In 2017, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Transportation and Infrastructure Systems IVI. In 2018, they completed a Master Thesis at Fabmatics GmbH. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Robotics Engineer and Robotics Engineer at Wandelbots.

Markus Schmidtchen received their Diplom-Ingenieur in Fahrzeugbau: Werkstoffe und Komponenten from TU Bergakademie Freiberg between 2013 and 2019. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in 2018.
