Peter Dieleman has a diverse work experience. Peter began their career in 2014 as a PhD Researcher at Leiden University, where they studied origami metamaterials. In the same year, they also took on a PhD Researcher role at AMOLF. In 2019, they became a Software Developer at Tessella, where they worked on enhancing existing iOS apps and implementing a plan to migrate on-prem Dockerized apps to Azure. In 2021, they took on a Software Developer role at Capgemini Engineering. Peter is currently employed as a Software Developer at Wandelbots.
Peter Dieleman has a comprehensive educational background. Peter began their studies in 2002 at Helinium, where they obtained a vwo and Atheneum in Nature & Technology. In 2008, they earned a BSc in Physics from Leiden University. In 2010, they completed a Pre-Master in Econometrics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. From 2011 to 2014, they attended Leiden University again, where they earned an MSc in Experimental Physics. During this time, they also completed a Visiting Graduate Student program in Mechanical Engineering at the MIT School of Engineering. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Wandelbots is a german start-up that is democratizing industrial robotics by enabling everyone to program any robot via smart input devices and example-based teaching. The Wandelbots software backend tracks human motion to live-control industrial robots. Operators can teach automation tasks by demonstration. The software backend builds a machine learning model based on several demonstrations and generates automation workflows which can be refined and optimized with the software tool.
