Chris Hidalgo

Chris Hidalgo serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Wander since March 2025, previously holding the same title at Forward from March 2023 to December 2024, and at GitHub from February 2019 to February 2023. At GitHub, Chris was responsible for all aspects of finance and led the Strategic Finance function. Prior to GitHub, Chris worked at Microsoft from December 2008 to February 2019, overseeing finance for the Cloud Platform product portfolio and for the Premier Support business. Chris's career began at Pepsi Bottling Group, where roles spanned from VP of Finance to various positions focused on financial planning and analysis. Chris earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics with an Accounting Concentration from UC Santa Barbara.
