Erik Brown

Erik Brown is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital. Currently serving as Senior Director of Private Equity at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, Erik also holds roles as Principal at Red Cedar Capital and Active Limited Partner at Decasonic, contributing to blockchain innovation initiatives. Other notable positions include Investor at Goldfinch and Wander, and Advisory Committee member for Michigan Rise, a fund supporting tech startups. As a Board Member of the Financial Markets Institute at Michigan State University, Erik is devoted to the advancement of finance education, and previously served on the Advisory Board of the Michigan State University Foundation. Erik is also a Principal at Aspire Capital Partners, a Chicago-based fund specializing in life sciences and technology.
