Nathan Potter

CTO at Wander

Nathan Potter is the current CTO at Wander. Prior to that, they were the Head of Product at Coder from April 2018 to July 2021. Before that, they were a software engineer at National Instruments from February 2017 to April 2018. Nathan also interned as a software engineer at Target from June 2016 to August 2016 where they developed experience with RESTful API’s and asynchronous reactive programming using RxJava Observables and the Ratpack framework. Nathan also helped transition and stabilize Target’s website from legacy systems to a Microservice architecture. In addition, they gained knowledge in DevOps tools and processes such as Ansible, Jenkins, Vagrant, Docker, and deploying applications to cloud service providers. Prior to that, they interned as an electronic data interchange at Seagate Technology from May 2015 to August 2015 where they gained experience in business to business eCommerce and supply chain solutions. Nathan also learned data management skills and used SQL to handle critical structured data for supply chain management and purchase order management. Finally, they interned as a systems engineer at Hewlett-Packard from May 2014 to August 2014 and again from June 2013 to August 2013.

Nathan Potter attended the University of Minnesota, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Nathan then attended Carleton College.
