Michael Chen

Michael Chen is the Co-Founder & CEO at WanderJaunt. Prior to WanderJaunt, they were the Head of Merchant Operations at DoorDash from August 2014 to November 2016. Michael has also worked as a Strategy and Operations Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from August 2011 to August 2014.

At DoorDash, Michael was responsible for activating new merchants, creating and maintaining the content on DoorDash, and handling all issues critical to the success of our merchants. Michael centralized headcount from 10+ states to Phoenix, Arizona where they stood up the bulk of our Merchant Operations team.

At Deloitte Consulting, Michael advised Multi-National Corporations on market entry, global footprint optimization, and supply chain strategy with on-the-ground fieldwork and due diligence in over 15 countries across 3 continents. Michael also developed and executed S&P re-org, SAP implementation, and strategic sourcing for selected indirect categories.

Michael Chen completed their BSBA at Washington University in St. Louis, where they majored in finance and economics and minored in accounting. Michael then went on to study economics as an associate student at the University of Oxford.
