Jay Hershey

Jay Hershey recently retired from The Wall Street Journal, where they served as a Senior Special Writer since 1989. Prior to this role, Jay held positions such as Page One Editor at The Wall Street Journal Europe, Deputy Managing Editor at Central European Economic Review, and Managing Editor at Convergence Magazine. Jay began their career as a Copy Editor at The Kansas City Times. They earned a BA in History from Northwestern University and a MA in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
