Johnny Simon

Johnny Simon is an experienced photo editor and digital capture technician with a robust background in various media organizations. Starting as a White House Photo Intern, Johnny supported the documentation of the Obama Administration and managed the White House Flickr account. Following this role, Johnny worked as a freelance photographer and digital capture technician at several firms, including Industrial Color and Splashlight Studios. At MSNBC, Johnny played a key role in the relaunch of the visual digital publication msnbc.com as an Associate Photo Editor. Subsequently, Johnny served as Photo Editor at Mashable, contributing to visual storytelling, and held the position of Deputy Photo Editor at Quartz before joining The Wall Street Journal as a Features Photo Editor. Johnny holds a BS in Visual Communication from Ohio University.
