Tom Rutledge

Tom Rutledge is an experienced investment banker and advisor currently serving as an Independent Investment Banker at General Arts, LLC since January 2017, while also taking on roles as an emcee, pub trivia host, panel discussion moderator, and charity auctioneer. In addition, Tom has been the CFO/COO of Wapanda since January 2021 and has maintained a personal portfolio as a seed-stage angel investor since December 2007, achieving notable exits in companies such as DataXu and Elsy. Prior roles include Fixed Income Strategist at Magnetar Capital, Executive Director at JPMorgan, Chief Investment Officer at OTA Asset Management, and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank. Tom also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Boston College and holds advanced degrees from MIT Sloan School of Management and Amherst College.
