David Thomas

David Thomas is an experienced software development professional with a strong background in mobile applications and software engineering. Currently serving as Lead iOS Developer at Waracle since March 2019, David is responsible for developing ScottishPower’s energy app and other applications. Prior experience includes building the Parkinson’s monitoring app for Roche and the Michael J. Fox Foundation as a Senior Software Engineer. As Software Engineering Lead at emobix limited, David worked on enhancing the Picsel ePAGE technology, specifically implementing PowerPoint animation support. David also led a team at Metaforic Limited, focusing on anti-tamper software for mobile financial markets, and has a history of developing cryptographic solutions and document rendering technologies across various roles since 1997. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.
