Ron Akkerman

Ron Akkerman currently serves as the Voorzitter raad van toezicht at Ziekenhuis Amstelland and as a member of the raad van toezicht at Warande. They have held various significant roles including voorzitter of the raad van toezicht at Levvel and voorzitter of the raad van bestuur at Pro Persona. Akkerman has an extensive background in management, having held diverse roles at Ahold Delhaize and served on the executive board at Anheuser-Busch InBev. They completed a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Political Economy at Universiteit van Amsterdam, followed by an MBA from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, and furthered their education at Harvard Business School.
