John Lane

John Lane is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the food industry. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Warburtons since May 2024, John is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. Previously, John was the Chief Financial Officer for The Compleat Food Group, overseeing the financial integration of Addo Food Group and Winterbotham Darby following their merger in January 2021. Prior to this, John held the CFO position at Wellness Foods, managing all financial operations and legal matters. John’s career began at KPMG UK as an Auditor, followed by various finance roles at Kerry Foods, which included Group Financial Controller and Finance Director. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Southampton.
