David Plakon

David Plakon is an experienced product designer with a diverse background in developing tools and experiences for technology and entertainment sectors. Currently a Product Designer at Warp since August 2023, David previously served as Product Design Lead at WayScript, where responsibilities included comprehensive design across product, brand, and marketing for an early-stage startup. Prior roles include Product Designer at Datadog, where David contributed to cloud infrastructure monitoring and launched the company's mobile app, and UX Designer at Code and Theory, crafting digital experiences for notable clients such as Citi Ventures and NBC Sports. David's entrepreneurial spirit is evident from co-founding startups such as TBL-TXT and North Avenue Studios, alongside managing event-based products at Jukely and designing for PledgeMusic. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts from Stetson University and a User Experience Design certificate from General Assembly.
