Steve Beard

Steve Beard has extensive experience in leadership and finance within the disability services sector and other industries. As CEO of The Flagstaff Group Limited from January 2006 to December 2011 and Greenacres Disability Services from December 2011 to April 2013, Steve contributed to the advancement of services in the disability sector. Following this, Steve served as a consultant with Accounting Professionals - Chartered Accountants until March 2017, focusing on the disability sector and providing executive support. At Warrigal, from November 2019 to July 2019, Steve worked as a Finance Specialist and later held a position as Executive Manager Finance and Administration, overseeing finance and customer relations. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director at BCH Printing from September 1993 to June 2004, where the company won the 2002 Illawarra Business of the Year award, and as a Chartered Accountant at Hogbin Quinn & Bentley. Steve Beard earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Wollongong and completed HSC at Wollongong High School.
