Nicholas Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nicholas started their career in the British Army as an Aircraft Technician from September 2005 to September 2010. After that, they worked at Manchester United as a Match Day Hospitality Room Manager from September 2010 to August 2014. Following their time at Manchester United, Nicholas worked at Accrington Stanley Football Club Ltd as a Part-Time Academy Therapist from August 2013 to June 2014, and later as a Senior Academy Physiotherapist from June 2014 to August 2014. Nicholas then moved to West Bromwich Albion Football Club, where they served as an Academy Physiotherapist from August 2014 to June 2016, and as a Senior Academy Physiotherapist from June 2016 to November 2016. Currently, Nicholas serves as the Head Physiotherapist at Warrington Wolves, a position they have held since January 2018.

Nicholas Murphy began their education at Falinge Park High School from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained their high school degree and completed their GCSE's. Following this, they attended The University of Huddersfield in 2010, where they pursued a Foundation Course for Health Professions in Physiotherapy until 2011. Continuing their studies, Nicholas completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy at The University of Huddersfield from 2011 to 2014. Lastly, they attended The University of Salford from 2018 to 2021, where they earned their Master of Science (MSc) in Sports Injury Rehabilitation.
