Brian Pizzi

Brian Pizzi is a Senior Power Plant Controls/Network Solution Engineer at Wärtsilä, where responsibilities include software controls and SCADA design for utility-scale energy storage projects. Pizzi's expertise encompasses network communications and key protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, and C37. Prior to Wärtsilä, Pizzi served as a Field Application Engineer - Software at Doosan GridTech, focusing on software controls for energy storage installations. Earlier experience includes working as an Engineering Technician at The Cadmus Group, Inc. and as a Quantitative Research Analyst M2M Systems at Ontegrity. Pizzi holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
