Daniel Åbonde

Daniel Åbonde has been with Wärtsilä since May 2017, progressing from a Trainee to various management roles, including Site Manager for the world's largest cruise vessel since May 2018. In the position of Commissioning Manager, Daniel led commissioning phases for multiple marine projects, managing an array of products such as engines and LNGpacs. Prior experience includes serving as a Commissioning Coordinator, where responsibilities included retrofitting exhaust gas cleaning scrubbers and supporting projects in Shanghai. Daniel earned an Engineer's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Novia University of Applied Sciences and completed exchange studies at Udayana University.
