John Kop

John Kop is an experienced leader in digital product management, currently serving as General Manager & Digital Product Owner at Wärtsilä since May 2018. With a career that includes roles as General Manager & Chief Product Owner, Senior Digital Product Owner, and Digital Product Owner, John Kop has consistently driven teams to develop next-generation predictive maintenance and efficiency services for customer assets. Prior to this, John Kop was a Product Manager at Eniram, a Wärtsilä subsidiary focused on maritime energy management technology. Earlier experience includes Manager Factory Development and Lead Developer roles at Wärtsilä, as well as a brief tenure as a System Development Expert at ASML. John Kop holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
