Lauri Vaismaa

Lauri Vaismaa is a Senior Design Engineer at Wärtsilä, where they focus on mechatronic systems, including solenoids and actuators. Prior to this role, Lauri worked as a Design Engineer in the R&D department at Wärtsilä and gained experience as an assembler/electrician at Traypack Engineering. Lauri's background includes serving as a project assistant at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, where they contributed to a brewery factory layout project. They began their career in the brewing industry, working part-time at Mallaskoski Brewery while completing a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences.
