Mathieu Belz

Mathieu BELZ is a seasoned professional in supply management with extensive experience in leading global organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Global Supply Management for Wärtsilä Gas Solutions since August 2018, Mathieu is a permanent member of the Gas Solutions Board of Management overseeing a €500 million turnover P&L and managing a team of over 50 professionals across Europe and Asia. As a Board of Directors member at Wärtsilä Suzhou, Mathieu contributes to a €100 million P&L for a multimodal factory in China. Prior to Wärtsilä, Mathieu held key positions at GE Power Conversion, achieving significant cost reductions and spearheading global sourcing strategies across multiple product lines, including electrical and mechanical systems. Mathieu began a career in sourcing at Converteam Group SAS, focusing on international supply chain management. Educational qualifications include a Master 2 in Purchasing from NEOMA Business School and preparatory classes at Classe Préparatoire HEC.
