Patrick Baan

Patrick Baan has extensive experience in leadership roles at Wärtsilä, spanning over a decade since joining in 2006. Currently serving as the Director of System Integration and Performance, Patrick focuses on transitioning Wärtsilä from a marine equipment supplier to a provider of integrated solutions. Previous roles include Director of Ship Performance Management, Director of Project Management and Engineering, and Director of R&D Electrical and Automation. Patrick's career at Wärtsilä also includes positions as Director of Concepts & Solutions and Director of Solutions Engineering. Prior to this, Patrick was the General Manager of Business Support at Wärtsilä Italia. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed in 1998.
