Thomas Dewilde

Thomas Dewilde is an experienced professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security at Wärtsilä since April 2016. In this role, Thomas leads Governance, Risk, Assurance, Third Party Risk, and Compliance initiatives. Previous positions at Wärtsilä include General Manager and Manager of Cyber Governance, Risk & Assurance, where Thomas managed teams to implement risk-based governance frameworks and ensure compliance, including the ISO 27001 ISMS framework. Prior to Wärtsilä, Thomas owned a freelance IT consulting firm, provided cyber security consulting at SSL247 LTD, and held various roles in banking and logistics. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Business from Solent University and completed high school at Sint Barbara College.
