Mbayang Thiam

Mbayang THIAM, PhD, currently serves as the Academic Coordinator at WASCAL since December 2022. Previously, Mbayang THIAM worked as a Mendeley Advisor at Mendeley from August 2020 to December 2022 and as an Academic Assistant at GIDEL - Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD) from September 2018 to July 2021. Mbayang THIAM’s early career includes roles as an Intern Hydrologist at IRD from September 2017 to March 2019 and as a Junior Meteorologist at Agence National de l'Aviation Civile et de la Météorologie from March 2016 to September 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Water Resources Engineering and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2019-2022), a Master of Science (MS) in Hydrological Science from Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (2016-2018), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geography from the same institution (2013-2016).
