William Gambier

Co-Founder & Head of Automation at WASE LIMITED

William Gambier has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 as a summer intern at Jon J Oates Ltd. In 2016, they worked as a placement student at the same company, gaining proficiency in structural design and analysis. During this time, they had the opportunity to visit various projects and interact with clients. In 2018, William co-founded WASE Limited and took on the role of Co-Founder & CTO. William led the research and development of their Electro-Methanogenic Reactor (EMR) technology, growing the team from 3 to 15 members. Under their leadership, WASE's innovation progressed from a lab prototype to a field-ready 4m3 containerized solution. William's accomplishments include implementing a 1.3m3 reactor for the treatment of blackwater in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme, as well as installing a 4m3 containerized reactor at Hepworth & Co Brewers Ltd. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Co-Founder & Head of Automation at WASE to facilitate the company's growth.

William Gambier received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering with Professional Development from Brunel University London from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended The Woodroffe School from 2006 to 2014, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
