Bart Phillips

Bart Phillips is currently the Director at Washington Interactive Network. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director at Greater Redmond TMA from January 2015 to June 2019. In this role, they provided staff and board leadership of a private not-for-profit transportation management organization serving 36 member companies employing 68,000 in the greater Seattle metropolitan area. Bart also promoted commute trip reduction involving traditional and innovative transportation solutions. Before that, Bart was a Senior Consultant at OneRedmond from October 2013 to August 2019 where they supported the Executive Director with leadership transition and special projects.

From December 2011 to December 2013, Bart served as the Vice President of Economic Development at Innovate Washington. In this role, they were responsible for the execution of strategies to grow Washington’s clean energy and technology sectors. Prior to that, they were the President at Columbia River Economic Development Council from May 2000 to May 2011.

Bart Phillips has a BS in Zoology from North Carolina State University, and is currently a Masters Candidate in Regional and Environmental Planning at Washington State University. Bart also has certifications from Google in Google Ads Search, Google Analytics, and Shopping Ads. Additionally, Bart is certified by freeCodeCamp in Responsive Web Design, and by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) in CEcD and Certified Economic Developer (CEcD). Finally, Bart has a certification from the National Development Council in Certified Economic Development Finance Professional.
