The goal of Washington Wave is to integrate marine energy technologies into the Blue Economy, through innovative design and thoughtful business concepts. Our interdisciplinary team brings ideas, skill sets, and perspectives from engineering, science, and entrepreneurship. We seek to empower future creators to join us on this mission towards sustainability and the expansion of marine energy.

Our team is participating in the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition put on by the National Renewable Energy Lab and Department of Energy Water Power Technologies Office. This year-long competition includes a business plan and technical design of a "powering the blue economy" concept. Our team will also be building and testing our system.
